Up Here: Carlos Valdes to Star Alongside Mae Whitman in Musical Rom-Com Series

Hulu has announced that Carlos Valdes will star alongside the previously cast Mae Whitman in the musical rom-com series Up Here. The series follows a couple in the final days of 1999 in New York City as the pair attempts to figure out what direction their relationship is headed. Whether it be separate ways or happiness, Lindsay and Miguel must dig through their emotional scars and find their happy ending.

The series will be helmed by Thomas Kail who will work from a script penned by Steven Levenson, Danielle Sanchez-Witzel, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, and Robert Lopez.

Valdes hit the entertainment world by storm after his performance in the musical Once and spent many seasons as one of the stars of The CW‘s The Flash as well as multiple appearances in other Arrowverse series including Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Arrow.

Up Here does not have a release date but will premiere exclusively on Hulu. Stay tuned as more information becomes available.
