Legend of the White Dragon Trailer Features Action-Packed Look at Jason David Frank’s Final Role
Legend of the White Dragon, the final feature film starring Jason David Frank just released its new trailer which shows the late Power Rangers icon in his final feature role after his untimely passing late last year. Bat in the Sun’s indie project has also been revealed to be released next year as fans get the opportunity to see JDF on screen once again for a project he passionately championed for a long time in anticipation of its release.
The news came via a San Diego Comic-Con panel for Legend of the White Dragon which also featured a memorial for the late actor. Director and co-writer Aaron Schoenke confirmed the first quarter 2024 release date via a report by EW. As the film works through reshoots, we now have a full trailer showcasing the legendary action we will experience early next year.
Legend of the White Dragon stars JDF alongside Mark Dacascos, King Bach, Michael Madsen, David Ramsey, Aaron Schoenke, Jason Faunt, Rachel Brooke Smith, Ciara Hanna, Kevin Porter, Mayling Ng, Cerina Vincent, and Jenna Rae Frank.
The film’s plot is described as:
After three years of forced hiding as a fugitive, former superhero, Erik Reed returns to the city he swore to protect. His goal; to clear his name and reunite with the family he keeps secret.
JDF always embodied the White Dragon in every shape and form since he wore the suit as an official Power Ranger. He continued to be a hero through the time he gave his fans and sadly he won’t be around to see the film arrive. But as we saw at SDCC, the entire fandom continues to show love and appreciation for him and his passion and we are all more invested than ever in this film. JDF shares the screen with other screen legends and this will be a banger of a movie!
Legend of the White Dragon comes to theaters in 2024.
