Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2 returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone.
Led by the talented Amy Poehler as Joy, the voice cast also includes Phyllis Smith reprising her role as Sadness, and Lewis Black returning as Anger. Liza Lapira joins the cast as Disgust, taking over from Mindy Kaling, while Tony Hale takes on the role of Fear, previously voiced by Bill Hader.
Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, The Inside Out 2 trailer gives us a glimpse at the film delving deeper into the complexities of adolescence, conveying the challenges of this pivotal period in Riley’s life. Emotions run high as headquarters faces an imminent demolition, signifying significant changes on the horizon.
Inside Out 2 will premiere in theaters on June 14, 2024. Check out the trailer below:
