Henry Cavill Wants To Be Part Of The MASS EFFECT TV Series
Henry Cavill who has portrayed iconic characters such as Superman and Geralt in the Netflix series The Witcher has expressed his interest in joining another popular video game franchise that may be receiving the small-screen treatment. The actor stated he would very much be interested in being part of a Mass Effect TV series. He went on to share that he has played the original Mass Effect trilogy and believes it can make for a magnificent series.
Cavill shared his interest in the series during an interview with GamesRadar. During the interview, he shared that he would be interested in joining if the series adaptation was done correctly and when asked if he would be interested in joining, Cavill said:
Very much so, yeah, all depending on how they’re executing it. The world of adaptation can be heavy or light. When I like a product, I prefer the adaptation to be less changed from the source, so it all depends.
It was reported last month that Amazon was close to a deal with EA to develop a Mass Effect TV series, although no details were shared on the deal or what the TV series would be focusing on. We will have to wait to see if the two companies can reach a deal and if they might already have Cavill on their radar. In the meantime, we will anxiously await more information on the upcoming installment in the Mass Effect franchise that is in development at BioWare.
