Grand Theft Auto 5 Will Not Have A Free Upgrade, Pricing Revealed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S
Rockstar has revealed the pricing for the new-gen version of Grand Theft Auto 5 which will be arriving on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on March 15th, 2022. You can start pre-loading the game as of today which revealed the price for digital copies. Along with the pricing reveal, it was also revealed that there are no free upgrade paths for anyone owning an existing version of GTA V.

PlayStation 5
- GTA V will be 75% off for its first three months after launch. The cost will be $9.99 and after that, the price will go back up to $39.99. These prices include both the single-player campaing and GTA Online.
- GTA Online on PS5 will be free in its first three months. After the free trial, the standalone version of GTA Online will cost $19.99.
Xbox Series X/S
- GTA V will be 50% off for its first three months after launch. The cost will be $19.99 and after that, the price will go back up to $39.99. These prices include both the single-player campaing and GTA Online.
- GTA Online on Xbox Series X/S will not be free in the first three months. Instead, it will be on sale for $9.99 for three months. After the sale ends, the standalone version of GTA Online will cost $19.99.
Grand Theft Auto 5 new-gen versions will launch on March 15th, 2022.
