Gotham Knights Robin Trailer Reveals Teleportation and Slingshots for the Boy Wonder
Warner Bros. Games unveiled a new Gotham Knights Robin trailer that showcased some of the upcoming tools for the Boy Wonder. The famous sidekick of Batman explores a Gotham City without Batman and although it seems like he is still providing justice at his full potential with his advanced tech while patrolling the streets of Gotham City. This trailer follows the previously released trailer highlighting Nightwing’s arsenal in Gotham Knights.
Warner Bros. Games’ description of Gotham Knights reads:
“A brand-new open world, third-person action RPG featuring the Batman Family as players step into the roles of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin, a new guard of trained DC Super Heroes who must rise up as the protectors of Gotham City in the wake of Batman’s death.
An expansive, criminal underworld has swept through the streets of Gotham, and it is now up to these new heroes to protect the city, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops and fear to its
criminals. Players must save Gotham from descent into chaos and reinvent themselves into their own version of the Dark Knight.”
The gameplay revealed Robin disposing of thugs in a post-Batman Gotham and his attack style focuses on melee combat that deals quick attacks and mid-range beatings from his quarterstaff. He can also activate his camouflage to hide his presence and deliver stealthy takedowns.
Using the Justice League satellite, Robin can teleport around Gotham and even use this ability to drop in on unsuspecting enemies. Lastly, if one Robin wasn’t issue enough for thugs, the Boy Wonder can deploy decoys to deceive his enemies.
Gotham Knights will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 25th, 2022. Check out the new trailer below:
