Marvel Comics introduced a groundbreaking series in 1977 featuring the iconic kaiju, Godzilla. This collaboration with Toho International, the U.S.-based subsidiary of the Japanese studio responsible for bringing Godzilla to life, brought together two comic book trailblazers: writer Doug Moench and artist Herb Trimpe.

Marvel Comics is giving fans the chance to relive the thrilling adventures of Godzilla and their favorite Marvel heroes in the upcoming omnibus collection, Godzilla: The Original Marvel Years. This omnibus release will gather all 24 issues of the beloved series, each one meticulously remastered and presented in vivid color for the very first time.

Prepare for a wild ride filled with aliens, mutants, mad scientists, and epic clashes between Godzilla and other colossal creatures, including Batragon and Yetrigar.

Toho recently celebrated Godzilla’s incredible 69-year history with Godzilla Day, a remarkable event featuring thrilling announcements. Among these exciting reveals was the upcoming release of the new film, Godzilla Minus One, which will hit U.S. theaters next month.

In light of this monumental occasion, Marvel Comics now joins the many paying homage to the King of Monsters by revisiting its own unique connection to this legendary franchise through the release of Godzilla: The Original Marvel Years Omnibus.

The omnibus features three impressive covers, including a stunning new artwork by superstar artist Junggeun Yoon. Additionally, two Direct Market Exclusive Variant Covers will showcase Trimpe’s iconic artwork.
