Check out some of the upcoming releases from Monkeygong:

Prepare for a nonsensical, non sequitur, and completely non-compos mentis adventure! “Teaser” is a “stoner” comic with a hint of public access TV. Join Kraig Rasmussen on a zany journey inside his mind, as he attempts to reveal something truly special.

Amnesia, evil twins, and martial arts abound in this time-travel story. “The Adventures of Dr. Cotton Hickox” takes you on a wild trip through time and the lost mind of its first traveler.

Immerse yourself in nearly 50 hand-drawn sci-fi art pieces by Kraig Rasmussen. “Furthest Reaches II” is the second volume of the black & white science fiction folio, serving as a companion to “Furthest Reaches Vol. 1.”

Monkeygong’s Kraig Rasmussen shared his thoughts on the project, saying:

“Subscriptions are crowdfunding in its purest form; it’s a forever presale. The best comics have always emerged from independent roots. Indie comics keep the literary core of sequential art alive while providing an alternative to more conventional offerings. Comics are not just content; they are stories, characters, and a profound expression of ideas.

Historically, they speak truth to power, fearlessly delve into the complexities of the human condition, scream in our faces like the best of classic punk rock, or completely transport us like the greatest cinema. Independent art represents the purest form of a creator’s vision. The Comics Club embodies all of this.

No shifting algorithms to stifle visibility, no AI scraping, no distracting spam content. Subscription is the most sustainable form of small press/self-publishing. It’s crowdfunding without the need for separate campaigns for each book I create.”
