BOOM! Studios has unveiled a first look at Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #113. This upcoming comic issue serves as the next chapter in the highly anticipated Darkest Hour event, following the Reunited, Recharged era of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The creative team behind the series includes writer Melissa Flores, artist Simona Di Gianfelice, colorist Raúl Angulo, and letterer Ed Dukeshire.

In the exciting continuation of the monumental 12-month event, the Master Arch becomes flooded with corrupted Rangers. However, this time, they are not just causing chaos but also capturing others. As Billy seeks answers from the only beings who might possess the knowledge he needs, an old ally of Zordon’s emerges, offering a glimmer of hope. Yet, with Dark Specter’s infectious corruption spreading uncontrollably across time and space, it remains to be seen if their efforts will be enough to turn the tide.

Power Rangers, now celebrating an impressive 30 years on the air, has cemented itself as one of the longest-running kids’ live-action series in television history, with over 900 episodes aired to date. As the franchise marks its 30th anniversary, the celebration has included both specials on Netflix and a special 30th anniversary one-shot issue from Boom! celebrated the occasion which included a short story by the original Pink Ranger, Amy Jo Johnson.

Fans can enjoy the special Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always streaming exclusively on the streamer. The 30th season of Power Rangers, Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury, is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix in the fall of 2023.
