DEER EDITOR is an upcoming series from Mad Cave Studios that will captivate mystery lovers and fans of anthropomorphic noir. Written by award-winning writer Ryan K. Lindsay, the story follows a journalist drawn into a world of political intrigue, a mysterious wi-fi-enabled grotto, and a locker full of secrets, all sparked by a John Doe slaying. But what sets this story apart is that the protagonist is not your typical journalist – he’s Bucky, an editor at “The Truth,” and also happens to be a deer.

In this antler noir series, Bucky embarks on a chase to uncover the truth behind the slaying. Ryan K. Lindsay, the writer behind this captivating tale, expressed his excitement: “DEER EDITOR is the story that has always lived rent-free in my heart. When Sami and I created Bucky, we knew we’d be with him for life. Telling his initial story has been fun and personal and a place of growth for us both.
