Dragon Age: Absolution Trailer Reveals A New Hero is Rising in Netflix & BioWare’s Animated Series
Netflix has revealed a trailer for the upcoming animated series Dragon Age: Absolution. The animated series is based on the popular video game franchise from BioWare. The series is set to arrive this year and introduces fans to a new party of characters that are inspired by the lore of the video game franchise. With new mages, knights, and more from the world of Tevinter coming, viewers can expect some fun surprises along the way.
The trailer looks to be a merry blend of what fans have grown to love of the Dragon Age franchise while bringing a fresh take to the series that will welcome new viewers into the fantasy world. Not much is known of where in the timeline the series will fit into but despite that fact, it should be a visually enticing entry in the lore of Dragon Age.
BioWare also recently revealed the official title of the video game franchise’s next entry, Dragon Age: Dread Wolf. The third entry is set to continue the story from where players left off in Dragon Age: Inquisition and the title suggest it will be tied to the character Solas, also known as the Dread Wolf. The animated series was created by show-runner Mairghread Scott and will be produced by Red Dog Culture House.
Dragon Age: Absolution will premiere exclusively on Netflix in December 2022. Check out the trailer below:
