Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc Trailer Revealed At Jump Festa

The announcement of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc has brought excitement to fans of the popular manga and anime series. The teaser trailer, which has already amassed over 2 million views on YouTube, gives a glimpse of the main character Denji spending time with a girl named Reze, who is familiar to manga readers and briefly appeared in the first season of the anime.

Chainsaw Man is based on the manga of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto, and premiered in Japan in 2022, with Crunchyroll streaming the anime as it aired.

The series is described as such:

Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.

One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man” — a man with a devil’s heart.

While we still don’t have specific details about the film’s release date or the director and production team involved, the fact that MAPPA, the studio behind the first season of the anime and other successful titles like Jujutsu Kaisen, will handle the production.
