Chainsaw Man Stage Play

For those unfamiliar with Chainsaw Man, it follows a teenage boy named Denji who is down on his luck as he scrapes by paying off the debts of his late father. This all changes when he becomes one with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita after a betrayal leads to his death leaving Denji no choice but to strike a deal with Pochita and is resurrected as Chainsaw Man.

Tatsuki Fujimoto debuted the manga on Shonen Jump in 2018 which just concluded its first arc in 2020. The second arc of the manga has picked up again as of last year and meanwhile, the anime adaptation has been atop Crunchyroll‘s streaming charts when it premiered late last year. There is also a live-action adaptation along with the stage play showcasing the devilish world of Chainsaw Man in all mediums of entertainment.

Chainsaw Man‘s stage play will run from September 16th – October 1st in Tokyo before moving on to Kyoto for shows running from October 6th – October 9th.
