By A Thread: Scott Snyder Teams Up With His Son for New Comixology Series

Comixology has announced that Scott Snyder and his eldest Jack Snyder will be teaming up for a brand-new post-apocalyptic series, By A Thread. Snyder, known for his stellar work at DC, which includes the Dark Knights universe and his most recent epic with the Justice League, has also worked on creator-owned series that highlight his creativity as a writer. Delivering such series as American Vampire, Wytches, Undiscovered Country, Nocterra, We Have Demons, and Night of the Ghoul which recently got picked up for a film deal, Snyder manages to deliver banger after banger from every corner of the comic book industry.

The Snyders will team up with artist Valeria Favoccia and colorist Whitney Cogar to deliver a story set in a world ravaged by infection. Even better, this isn’t your typical zombie-like infection but rather an infection stemming from deep within the ground that rises and devours anything in its path simply by touching it which makes the entire planet unsafe for anything hoping to not become collateral damage of this infection.

This will mark the latest collaboration between Snyder’s imprint Best Jackett Press and Comixology since they began collaborating. Last year, Comixology made the announcement that Snyder’s imprint would be releasing at least eight titles through Comixology Originals. Snyder has released incredible projects through this deal and the latest was announced during San Diego Comic-Con which included Barnstormers, Canary, and Dudley Datson and the Forever Machine. By A Thread will be just the latest collaboration of what we expect to be a new lineup of titles coming to Comixology.
