Black Adam Comic-Con Sneak Peek Features the Anti-Hero Taking On the Justice Society
DC has revealed a sneak peek of the highly-anticipated film Black Adam. The sneak peek was shown off during Warner Bros.San Diego Comic-Con panel. The film that will star Dwayne Johnson as the popular antihero has teased the blockbuster film for months now with the short but electrifying new sneak peek, we can see the epic fight that awaits as Black Adam takes on the Justice Society.
Black Adam‘s synopsis reads:
Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods — and imprisoned just as quickly — Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.
The trailer shows Black Adam facing off against the Justice Society of America which is made up of Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Cyclone, and Atom Smasher. As we can see the JSA and Black Adam are at odds with one scene in the trailer pitting Hawkman and Black Adam face-to-face as Hawkman reminds Black Adam that heroes don’t kill people with Black Adam responding very accurately that he does.
Starring alongside Johnson will be Aldis Hodge, Pierce Brosnan, Quintessa Swindell, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, James Cusati-Moyer, and Marwan Kenzari. The film was helmed by Jaume-Collet Serra from a script written by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab Noshirvani. Johnson will also executive produce the film alongside Walter Hamada, Eric McLeod, and Scott Sheldon.
Black Adam will arrive in theaters on October 21st, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
