Shazam! Fury of the Gods Trailer Reveals the Shazamily Back in Action

Warner Bros. revealed the first trailer for Shazam! Fury of the Gods today during their San Diego Comic-Con panel and gave fans the first look at the highly-anticipated sequel featuring the Shazamily back in action as they take on a new threat, and a dragon?!

The trailer shows Billy Batson trying to come to terms with the power he now possesses as he feels inadequate compared to the other heroes of the world such as Batman, The Flash, and Aquaman. His reservations surrounding being worthy of the power of Shazam will be put on hold when a new threat arrives threatening his city, family, and the world.

The returning cast features Zachary Levi as Shazam; Asher Angel as Billy Batson; Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy Freeman; Adam Brody as Super Hero Freddy; Ross Butler as Super Hero Eugene; Meagan Good as Super Hero Darla; D.J. Cotrona as Super Hero Pedro; Grace Caroline Currey as Mary Bromfield / Super Hero Mary; Faithe Herman as Darla Dudley; Ian Chen as Eugene Choi; Jovan Armand as Pedro Pena; Marta Milans as Rosa Vasquez; Cooper Andrews as Victor Vasquez; with Djimon Hounsou as Wizard. Joining the cast are Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu, and Helen Mirren.

The film was directed by David F. Sandberg from a script written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan. The film is executive produced by Walter Hamada, Adam Schlagman, Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Marcus Viscidi, and Geoff Johns.
