ARKS PROXIMAN #1 Takes Readers On An All-New Biopunk Series Inspired by 80s Sci-Fi
ARKS PROXIMAN #1, the latest installment in the renowned ARKS sci-fi series, brought to you by Clicky Sprout Wife is coming to Kickstarter. This captivating comic is co-written by the seasoned film storyboard and concept artist, Rory Collins (Children of Men, Bourne Ultimatum, and Never Let Me Go), along with the talented award-winning writer and director, Natalie Malla. The exceptional art and colors are crafted by Erich Owen (Batman and Teen Titans Go), and brought together by the letters of Jeremiah Lambert (Monocul).

In this all-new chapter, ARKS PROXIMAN explores the first interaction between an exonatal human and a demon from Earth. Odd Bluford finds himself in the middle of a mystery when his parents discover a signal on the network – a beam of light containing instructions to awaken a female Ark from Earth.
Odd is perplexed by his parents’ decision to make him communicate with this girl. His father believes he is the perfect representative as the Proximan, the first naturally conceived human on their new planet. However, his mother holds doubts and fears the girl may possess cryptic genetic traits.
As Odd strives to unravel this enigma, he must act swiftly before his mother takes drastic measures, the ominous creature protruding from the girl’s eyes puts her life in danger, or his own touch inadvertently leads to her demise. Odd’s ability to inadvertently cause death makes this mission even more perilous.

Inspired by the gritty, 80s science fiction era of movies such as “Aliens” and “Terminator,” Rory Collins enthuses:
“ARKS PROXIMAN brings back that raw sense of confronting true, nihilistic evil. Together with Natalie and Erich, we delve into a story that breaks new ground, thanks to their exceptional talent. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with them before their meteoric rise to stardom. Without them, this tale might have remained untold for years to come. They are truly time machines propelling us into the future.”
Natalie Malla adds:
“ARKS PROXIMAN is a gripping tale of survival, not just
