Almighty: Futuristic Dystopian America Sets Up a New Series Akin to Mad Max & Annihilation

Image Comics has announced an all-new series titled Almighty. The upcoming series will take readers into a dystopian America ravaged by economic collapse. After a girl is abducted, a killer is tasked with finding and returning her home. The series comes from superstar creator Ed Laroche who will deliver the adrenaline-filled sci-fi fantasy adventure in 2023.

Image‘s description of Almighty reads:

“The year is 2098 in a Third World America ravaged by economic collapse, anarcho-warfare, and a mysterious environmental disaster contained behind a massive wall. A girl has been abducted, and a killer has been hired to find her and bring her home.”

Laroche, shares in the press release their anticipation to see readers read the series, writing:

“I can’t wait for people to experience this story; each issue ratchets up the tension culminating in one of the most unexpected climaxes put to paper.”

Almighty #1 will be available at your favorite local comic shop and digitally on February 1, 2023.
