Cola Anderson & Eric Schuster educate us about Adams Foundation

Cola Anderson and Eric Schuster joined us on our latest episode of Fueled by Weird, the pair behind the Adams Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization focused on suicide prevention and mental health awareness.  Located in South East Idaho, AMJ Foundation is a vocal advocate for the depressed and suicidal. We want to help children and families in need.

Cola and Eric talked to me about the event that led to the creation of the Adams Foundation, their mission statement of wanting to help spread the word about mental health and suicide awareness, and how mental health is a disease that doesn’t discriminate and can affect anyone and everyone.

We also talked about mental health awareness.  It’s important that everyone knows that they are never alone, and should always reach out and try to talk to someone if they feel the need.  It really is ok to not be ok, and you are definitely not alone.  We also discuss ways we can help support the foundation whether you are a local to Idaho Falls or not.

Speaking of ways we can help out, the sixth annual fundraiser for Adams Foundation is coming up on August 26th, 2023 from 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm.  There’s going to be live music, food trucks, raffles, and a silent auction!

The AMJ runs year-round, and for more information including details on the auction or where you can donate, check out their website.
