BOOM! Studios Reveals First Look at CODA #1
BOOM! Studios has unveiled a first look at CODA #1, the highly anticipated premiere issue of a thrilling new five-issue original series. Penned by award-winning writer Simon Spurrier and featuring the artwork of Matías Bergara, color assist from Michael Doig, and letters by Jim Campbell, this is a comic series that fans won’t want to miss.
For the first time ever, fans will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the entire series with a single oversized hardcover edition. The hardcover not only includes the complete story but also presents never-before-seen artwork from Bergara, along with a brand new epilogue.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world where magic has been near-eradicated, CODA #1 follows the journey of Hum, an antisocial former bard. Driven by the desire to save his wife’s soul, Hum must navigate this strange wasteland armed with nothing but a cantankerous mutant pentacorn and his quick wit. However, his quest plunges him into a merciless power struggle that will determine the future ruler of this peculiar realm.
