Wu-Tang Clan Coming to Fortnite This Weekend With Outfits, Emotes, and More
Epic Games has revealed that the Wu-Tang Clan is making its way to Fortnite in the most recent collaboration. This collaboration comes through new outfits, emotes, and much more and will be dropping into the Fortnite store this weekend.
The two outfits that will be available are Throwback BG and B.R.I.T.E. and each will come with matching accessories. Throwback BG will come with the WUWEAR Worldwide back bling, and players can purchase the matching Neck Protector Pickaxe separately. The back bling will be reactive to music while the pickaxe will be reactive to hits with an alternative Ruckus Red style.
The B.R.I.T.E. Outfit will include the Wu-Tang Represent back bling and will give players the chance to get the Triumphant Tagger Pickaxe as well. This back bling is also reactive to music and the pickaxe will create a trail of paint when players swing it. Both come with the same Ruckus Red alternative styles.
The following items will also be available in the Fortnite Item Shop:
- Shimmy Surfer Glider
- Wu Wrap
- Wu-Tang is Forever Emote
Players can purchase these outfits separately or together in the Wu Wear Bundle. The bundle will also come with the Wu-Tang Hands Emoticon and Wu-Tang Style loading screen.
Epic Games said in a press release:
“The Next Protector Pickaxe, Triumphant Tagger Pickaxe, Shimmy Surfer Glider, Wu Wrap, and Wu-Tang is Forever Emote are available individually or together in the Wu Wear Gear Bundle. This bundle additionally includes the Wu Boom Box Spray and Wu-Tang Clan Banner.”
Wu-Tang Clan member RZA added:
“Fortnite has been in my household for years. It’s been a pleasure and joy watching the game evolve, while becoming the go-to pastime. This collaboration is a multigenerational ‘drip’ of swag and cool. If what you say is true, Fortnite and Wutang could be Fortangerous…”
To commemorate Wu-Tang’s collaboration with Fortnite, Wu-Tang Clan is creating special Fortnite Wu-Tang apparel, including real-life versions of the outfits hitting the game, and these will be available at 8 p.m. ET. on April 23 here.
