Wild Oni #1: Purpose and Vengeance Come to Kickstarter in New Comic Series

Michael J. Florio is set to bring readers a dark supernatural fantasy series with Wild Oni #1. The six-issue limited series follows the journey of Morchika, a samurai warrior who submits to an oni demon that will grant him the power to exact vengeance on the shogun that put a blade to flesh and killed his family. The upcoming series is in pre-launch on Kickstarter and will weave a story embellished with the dark and twisted mythology coming to life.

Check out the description of WIld Oni #1:

After the death of his family, Morichika is left for dead by Daimyo’s command. Only in death does he discover true purpose, VENGEANCE!

We rarely come across a series that delves this deep into the dark corners of supernatural mythology. As an avid fan of Japanese folklore and samurai, this combines the best of both worlds into an emotionally charged story and the fantasy elements that fuse the likes of Ghost Rider with the timeless tales of samurai warriors.

This story will not only captivate those looking for fantasy elements that cranks it up a few levels with bloody violence and action. But it also grounds this journey by focusing on the tale of vengeance, family, and honor.
