Virgin River Season 4 Images Show the Rivers of Romance Flowing This Summer
Netflix has revealed first look images of Virgin River season 4. The hit drama and romance series for the streamer is set to premiere this summer with more episodes than previous seasons as well. These announcements come with images that tease the romance that is set to continue flowing through the small town of Virgin River as the series returns this July.

Here’s the official synopsis for Season 4 of Virgin River:
“Despite not knowing whether her baby belongs to her deceased husband, Mark or Jack, Mel begins Season Four with a sense of optimism. For years she yearned to be a mother and her dream is one step closer to reality. While Jack is supportive and excited, the question of paternity continues to gnaw at him. Complicating matters is the arrival of a handsome new doctor, who’s in the market to start a family of his own.
Hope is still healing from her car accident, and the lingering psychological effects of her brain injury will have profound consequences for both her and Doc. Brie, intent on proving the innocence of the man she loves, unexpectedly finds herself in a closer relationship with Mike and one step closer to Calvin’s violent criminal web. Even as Preacher forges a new romantic connection, he can’t help but hold out hope for being reunited with Christopher and Paige.”
The romantic relationship between Melinda (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson) continues to develop from where they left off in season 3 and the surprise twist that saw Melinda pregnant and not knowing if her deceased husband, Mark (Daniel Gillies) or Jack was the father. The new season sees Jack doing his best to support Melinda as she gets closer to realizing her dream of being a mother.
Hope is also seen in the first look images after Annette O’Toole‘s character was severely absent in season 3. O’Toole’s character Hope was featured in scenes through video calls due to the actress being part of an at-risk group during the COVID-19 pandemic. With her appearing in the images besides Doc Mullins (Tim Matheson), we hope to see more of Hope as she deals with the aftermath of her car accident that has led to brain damage.
Based on a series of novels by Robyn Carr, Virgin River was created by Sue Tenney. The series also stars Colin Lawrence, Jenny Cooper, Lauren Hammersley, Benjamin Hollingsworth, and Zibby Allen. Virgin River has also already gotten a season 5 renewal ahead of season 4’s premiere.
All twelve episodes of Virgin River‘s season 4 will stream exclusively on Netflix on July 20th, 2022. Check out the images below:
