Vampire Survivors Animated TV Series in the Works

Story Kitchen and Luca “Poncle” Galante have announced a Vampire Survivors animated TV series. Their collaboration hopes to bring an animated adaptation of the beloved and viral video game that has been at the top of the charts on all platforms since releasing in 2022. Deadline reports that a search for a writer is currently underway to adapt the indie video game into “a premium animated television series.” which will then be up for grabs as Networks and streaming platforms are sure to want this project in their lineup.

The video game has trended and become a viral hit among fans. The game’s simplicity within the concept plays a large role in that as you fight to survive against endless hordes of enemies as your focus is to strategically move around as your weapons auto-fire at anything standing in your way. The game also features unlockable weapons which allows for a change of pace and has led to the huge replayability of the game along with the first DLC drop that hit the game not long ago.

Galante shared a statement in which he explains the story of Vampire Survivors coming to life is a dream come true, saying:

“The most important thing in Vampire Survivors is the story, so it’s a dream come true to see what started as a little indie game I made on my weekends come to life as an animated TV show! It’s also great to be partnering up with such experienced and talented people to make the show. I do wonder if they’ve realized that there isn’t a single vampire in Vampire Survivors, though.”
