TRANSFORMERS RISE OF THE BEASTS And The New STAR TREK Film Have Been Delayed By Paramount
Two of Paramount’s most anticipated films are being delayed. Transformers Rise of the Beasts and the upcoming installment of Star Trek franchise will both be pushed back to a later date. The date changes come on the heels of Paramount bringing in its new CEO, Brian Robbins.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts was previously scheduled to premiere on June 24th, 2022. The film will now be released on June 9th, 2023. The film will center around Anthony Ramos in a lead role along with Dominique Fishback in 1994 as a pair of archeologists who stumble across an ancient conflict. Maximals, the Predacons, and the Terrorcons are all set to appear in the film. Peter Cullen will return as the voice of Optimus Prime, with Steven Caple Jr. directing.
When it comes to the upcoming Star Trek film, there are much fewer details to share. There is no plot, casting, or development details to share on the film, but we do know that Matt Shakman is set to direct the film from a script written by Lindsey Beer and Geneva Robertson-Dworet. The film was slated to release on June 9th, 2023, and will be pushed back to December 23rd, 2023.
