RAINBOW SIX EXTRACTION Gets Release Date And Drops Price

After multiple delays, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction will finally arrive on January 20th, 2022. Along with the release date, it has been announced that the standard edition of Extraction has been lowered to $39.99.

Ubisoft made the announcement that the PvE spinoff from Rainbow Six Siege will arrive with full cross-play capability, cross-save, and cross-progression. It’s also going to introduce the cross-play Buddy Pass. Every copy of Extraction will come with two passes that will allow you to invite other players to play the game for free for 14 days. Any progress they make during that time will be transferred to the full game should they choose to purchase it.

The standard edition is not the only one seeing a price drop as the Deluxe edition will now only cost you $49.99, and will add an additional three bonus packs. All pre-orders of Extraction will receive the Orbital Decay Bundle, two costumes, and a weapon skin and if you have played Siege before, you will get the United Fron Bundle that includes gearsets that unlock both in Extraction and Siege.

In Extraction, players will go from the typical PvP gameplay to a cooperative team shooter that pits you against parasitic aliens. As mentioned, it has been a bumpy road for Extraction with multiple delays, and its name change after the pandemic led to their choice to change the name from Quarantine to Extraction.
