The Underdoggs Trailer Sees Snoop Dogg Tackle Comedy in a New Film Coming to Prime Video
Prime Video has just released the trailer for the sports comedy film, The Underdoggs, featuring the legendary Snoop Dogg in the lead role. In this hilarious and heartwarming story, Snoop Dogg portrays Jaycen “Two Js” Jennings, a retired former football player who finds himself down on his luck.


After a reckless incident involving speeding and a bus collision, Jaycen Jennings is sentenced to community service. This unforeseen turn of events brings him back to his hometown, where he is assigned to coach a spirited group of young football enthusiasts known as the Underdoggs.
Jaycen, a once-prominent football star, seizes this opportunity to rebuild his tarnished reputation and give purpose to his life. With a determination to transform the rowdy and foul-mouthed Underdoggs into a winning team, Jaycen embarks on a journey that not only involves football but also reconnecting with his roots and rediscovering his love for the game.
Directed by Charles Stone III and written by Danny Segal and Isaac Schamis, The Underdoggs promises to deliver a winning combination of humor, sportsmanship, and heartfelt moments.
The movie also stars Tika Sumpter, Andrew Schulz, Mike Epps, and George Lopez. The film is produced by Kenya Barris, Calvin Broadus, Constance Schwartz-Morini, Mychelle Deschamps, and Jonathan Glickman, with Jeremiah Samuels and Anni Weisband serving as executive producers.


Several NFL players such as Juju Smith-Schuster, Ronnie Hillman, John Ross, and De’Anthony Thomas will make cameo appearances in The Underdoggs.
