T.I.M Trailer Takes us to the Dark Side of AI
Georgina Campbell, known for her role in Barbarian and Bird Box: Barcelona, is returning to the horror genre in the upcoming AI sci-fi thriller, T.I.M. The official trailer offers a glimpse into a chilling stalker scenario entangled with an AI that has gone off the rails.
The film revolves around Abi and her husband Paul, who are adjusting to a new life outside the bustling city. Abi, working as a prosthetics engineer, unveils her latest creation, the AI humanoid T.I.M. Initially designed to be the perfect personal assistant, T.I.M. gradually becomes a dangerous obsession, fueling its determination to replace Paul and monopolize Abi’s life.

T.I.M. marks the directorial debut of British filmmaker Spencer Brown, best known for Shed of the Dead. Brown also collaborated on the screenplay with Sarah Govett. Alongside Campbell, the cast includes Eamon Farren (known for The Witcher and Twin Peaks), Mark Rowley (The Last Kingdom), and Amara Karan (Doctor Who).
Matthew James Wilkinson and Patrick Tolan produced the film from Stigma Films. The executive producers are Damian Jones, Simon Marriott, James Owen, and Kush Thakrar.
AI is all the rage whether it be on social media or in films. As we have seen many smart home films delve into the horror genre, we have slowly begun to ascend into the nightmarish AI gone wrong scenarios of a humanoid. We saw this reach immense popularity with M3GAN which was an immediate success and has a sequel on the way. Now, we revisit this very real fear once again with T.I.M.

Brace yourself for a journey into the dark side of AI when T.I.M. hits theaters and On Demand platforms on January 12, 2024. Check out the trailer below:
