The Peripheral Trailer Sees Chloë Grace Moretz Torn Between Two Moments in Time

Prime Video has released a trailer for their upcoming sci-fi thriller series titled The Peripheral. The upcoming series is adapted from the sci-fi novel by author William Gibson who sees a young woman torn between two moments in time. In the series adaptation, Chloë Grace Moretz will star as Flynne who finds the means to travel seventy years into the future and witnesses the fall of London’s society.

Prime Video‘s synopsis of The Peripheral reads:

“The Peripheral centers on Flynne Fisher, a woman trying to hold together the pieces of her broken family in a forgotten corner of tomorrow’s America. Flynne is smart, ambitious, and doomed. She has no future. Until the future comes calling for her. The Peripheral is master storyteller William Gibson’s dazzling, hallucinatory glimpse into the fate of mankind — and what lies beyond.”

Starring alongside Moretz in the series is Jack Reynor, Gary Carr, Eli Goree, Louis Herthum, JJ Feild, T’Nia Miller, Charlotte Ripley Alexandra Billings, Adelind Horan, Alex Hernandez, Katie Leung, Julian Moore-Cook, Melinda Page Hamilton, Chris Coy, Amber Rose Revah, and Austin Rising.

Amazon Studios and Warner Bros Television produced The Peripheral in association with Kilter Films. The series was directed by Vincenzo Natali with Scott B. Smith serving as showrunner. The series was executive produced by Natali, Smith, Greg Plageman, Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Athena Wickham, and Steven Hoban.

The Peripheral will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on October 21st, 2022 with one episode with new episodes releasing every Friday. Check out the trailer below:
