The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare Trailer Brings an Action-Packed Look at the WW2 Film

The highly anticipated trailer for Guy Ritchie‘s World War II action-comedy, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, is finally here. Audiences can now catch a first glimpse of Henry Cavill‘s portrayal of Gus March-Phillips, an unconventional and remarkably unhinged soldier leading a top-secret combat unit formed by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill during the Second World War.

The trailer teases exhilarating action as March-Phillips and his motley crew embark on a daring mission against the Nazis, employing notably “ungentlemanly” fighting techniques and resulting in a cascade of bullets, explosive clashes, and intense confrontations.

Based on recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, the film offers an insight into the unorthodox methods of the special forces group that not only altered the course of the war but also laid the groundwork for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.

Directed by Guy Ritchie from a screenplay co-written with Arash Amel, Eric Johnson, and Paul Tamasy, the film also brings in a lineup of producers including Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, Ivan Atkinson, and John Friedberg.

The dynamic cast is led by Cavill and includes Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusamokun, Henrique Zaga, Til Schweiger, Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes, putting together an electrifying on-screen ensemble.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is set to hit theaters on April 19th, 2024. Check out the trailer below:
