The Lost Wild Trailer Reveals Prehistoric Horrors That Await Players
Annapurna Interactive revealed a brand-new trailer for the horror survival game The Lost Wild that will pit players against prehistoric predators. The Lost Wild was first announced last year and will be a first-person survival horror game as players take control of an investigative reporter who is being guided by a mysterious stranger over a radio. Players will investigate an abandoned Japanese facility in an island forest that is inhabited by prehistoric wildlife.
Developer Great Ape Games will pit players against highly intelligent dinosaurs that will behave like real-life predators and the developer notes that they will have self-preservation and reactive AI behavior. Players will have to rely on stealth while they explore the island and its facilities while also using distractions and repellants to survive. Players will have to gather materials to have these items at their disposal should stealth not be an option while you make your way looking for clues about the island’s history.
The Lost Wilds aims to release in late 2024 or early 2025 and will release on PC and unspecified consoles. Check out the new trailer below:
