New Andor Trailer Reveals Saw Gerrera’s Return To the Rebellion
Only a few weeks away before fans enter the Star Wars galaxy again with the Rogue One prequel series Andor. A new trailer has been released revealing more of the Disney+ original series and included an unexpected appearance of Forest Whitaker‘s Saw Guerrera.
The series got a new trailer that shows Diego Luna reprising his role of Cassian Andor and his beginnings with the Galactic Rebellion that turned him into the man we will meet in the series to the hero who perishes alongside Felicity Jones‘ Jyn Erso in Rogue One.

The trailer description reads:
“The “Andor” series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.”
Starring alongside Luna will be Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, and Kyle Soller. Tony Gilroy will serve as series showrunner as well as co-writer alongside Dan Gilroy and Beau Willmon. The pilot episode was directed by Toby Haynes with Ben Caron and Susanna White directing the remaining episodes.
Andor season 1 will be made up of 12 episodes and will premiere on Disney+ on August 31st, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
