The Future of Silent Hill To Be Revealed this Week
It’s been years of rumors and speculation but it seems as if the future of Silent Hill may finally be revealed this week. Konami has announced that they will be broadcasting a Silent Hill transmission this week to reveal the latest updates for the series.
There haven’t been any significant advances in the series since the 2014 playable teaser P.T. released for Hideo Kojima’s now-canceled Silent Hills. Along with the rumors, many reports have also stated that various studios are working on projects for Silent Hill. One is rumored to have the director of the Silent Hill film Christopher Gans involved with Bloober Team reportedly working on a remake of Silent Hill 2.
The future of the series is as mysterious as the world of Silent Hill itself and we might be in for some exciting announcements on Wednesday, October 19. The tweet only shares that “the latest updates for the Silent Hill series, will be revealed,” with the website in the post not revealing anything more. We will have to tune in for the transmission to learn more.
