FX President, Nick Grad, has officially announced the renewal of the critically acclaimed series The Bear for its highly anticipated third season. Fans can expect The Bear Season 3 to open its doors on Hulu sometime in 2024.

The upcoming season will see the return of familiar faces, including Jeremy Allen White as Carmy, Molly Gordon as Claire, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richie. In addition to the core cast, fans can also look forward to possible guest appearances from the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis, Molly Ringwald, and Bob Odenkirk.

Ayo Edebiri has been enjoying a successful year in her career, appearing in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. Ebon Moss-Bachrach, on the other hand, has recently been seen in the acclaimed comedy No Hard Feelings and in the first season of Andor as Arvel Skeen. Allen White is set to star alongside Zac Efron in the upcoming A24 film The Claw.

As the story continues, Richie and Sydney will face new challenges and obstacles in their personal and professional lives. The troubles for Carmy’s family began with the tragic loss of his brother, Mikey, who took his own life four months before the events of the series. With Mikey being a key figure in the restaurant business alongside Richie, tensions arise when Carmy steps in to fill his brother’s shoes.

Over time, amidst discussions and complicated moments, Carmy and Richie manage to build a working relationship and strive to provide Chicago with an exceptional culinary experience. The arrival of Sydney, a young and talented individual set the business for success with a team geared to bring birth to the newly named restaurant “The Bear”. Money troubles in Season 2 and the self-destructive behavior of Carmy brought us to an intense cliffhanger season 2 finale.

At the dramatic conclusion of the second season, Carmy finds himself trapped in a walk-in refrigerator and damages his relationship with Claire. The intense and emotionally charged moment was one we hope to see the aftermath of and with the season 3 announcement, we will get another order of one of our favorite series. The Bear continues to captivate audiences with its compelling storytelling and talented ensemble cast.
