Tales from Nottingham: 5 New Tales in the Nottingham Universe Coming from Mad Cave Studios
Mad Cave Studios has announced an anthology series titled Tales from Nottingham based around their hit comic Nottingham. The new series will give fans 5 new tales in the Nottingham universe that will include Robin Hood and his Merry Men, Marian, Friar Tuck, and the Sheriff of Nottingham.
The anthology is brought to you by Nottingham series writers David Hazan and Shane Connery Volk but these new tales will also tap into talent such as Magdalene Visaggio.
“Tales from Nottingham explores untold stories from the twisted universe of Nottingham, including the secret origins of Robin Hood and the Merry Men, Marian’s violent past, Aya of the Hashashin’s first kill, and an ordeal that will shake Friar Tuck to his core. Never-before-seen mysteries confront Everard Blackthorne, the Sheriff of Nottingham, culminating in an investigation that will lead directly into the climactic events of Nottingham Vol. 3.”
The creators met with fans at New York Comic-Con and also had the chance to sit down with Don’t Hide PR‘s very own Melissa Meszaros. Check out some photos of the signing and interview below:
Tales from Nottingham Issue #1 will be available at your favorite local comic shop on February 1, 2023.
