Capcom’s Mysterious Countdown Announces Street Fighter 6, Capcom Fighting Collection Also Announced

Capcom‘s mysterious countdown timer has run its time and from that fans got treated to the announcement of Street Fighter 6. The reveal was made at the end of the Capcom Pro Tour and the cinematic trailer featured a showdown between Ryu and Luke.

Luke was the final Street Fighter V character to join as DLC content and Capcom had previously stated that he would play an integral role in the future of the franchise and based on the trailer it looks like that is certainly the case. As for the trailer itself, whether its any indication of the art style we might see in-game, it’s not fully known, but if it is, we might be looking at a more traditional art style different from the ink brush graphics we have become accustomed to in Street Fighter 4 and 5.
