Nathan W. Pyle’s Strange Planet Series Adaptation Sets Release Date on Apple TV+
Apple TV+ has announced that the long-awaited release date for Nathan W. Pyle‘s Strange Planet series adaptation has been set. The series was announced two years ago and fans had been eagerly awaiting news on the series based on the bestselling graphic novel. We now know that the series will arrive on the streaming platform next month with a 10-episode order.
From Strange Planet, by Nathan Pyle
The New York Times bestselling author has created Strange Planet which chronicles a hilariously perceptive take on blue aliens that are absolutely fascinated by our ritualistic traditions as humans throughout our everyday lives. These characters have become social media sensations of their relatable take that calls out the entire human race at times due to our everyday tasks.
The series stars Danny Pudi, Lori Tan Chinn, Hannah Einbinder, Tunde Adebimpe, and Demi Adejuyigbe. The series was created by Pyle alongside co-creator Dan Harmon who created the beloved animated series Rick & Morty and Community. They both will executive produce alongside Corey Campodonico, Amalia Levari, Alex Bulkley, Steve Levy, Lauren Pomerantz, and Taylor Alexy Pyle.
Apple TV+ continues to deliver consistent and dominating series that don’t get talked about much. Mythic Quest continues to be one of the best series out there today and with the beloved series Lasso under its belt and other notables such as Shrinking, Silo, and The Morning Show, Apple has been on a roll with their original content. This should be yet another banger added to the list.
Strange Planet will stream exclusively on Apple TV+ on August 9, 2023.
