Stephen Bridges Jr. is a Demonology Historian, a Deliverance Minister, and an expert in Demonology, The Occult, and the Rite of Exorcism. He is also the founder of the website Deliver Us From Evil. His education and expertise make him one of the most consulted demonologists in cases dealing with the paranormal!
I got the chance to sit down with him and talk about what it was that inspired him to start studying to become a Demonologist. It was all inspired by one fateful night while he was home alone.
His parents worked a lot, and his sister had just recently moved out and off to college. The things he heard and witnessed that night were something that no one would believe, and he was told that it was all in his head. On top of all of this, weird, unexplained rustling in the gravel in his front yard, and the sound of Indian battle cries that seemingly came from nowhere.
We also talk about how he protects himself from being possessed once he exorcizes an entity from a person or a place, and the differences between how Demonology is presented in the media and how it is in real life. There are a lot of things the media gets right, but there is a lot of it that is over-dramatized to make the story even that much more exciting.
We also chat about some of his most memorable cases which took place across the street from a local YMCA with a particularly slithery demonic entity, his brief interaction with Hollywood, where he was offered the chance to host his very own television show, and any advice he may have for others looking to learn more about Demonology!
