SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME Has Become Sony Pictures Highest Grossing Film of All-Time
Spider-Man No Way Home has now become Sony Pictures‘ highest-grossing film. With the film bringing in over $500M domestically and over $644M internationally, the Spidey film has earned itself a worldwide total of $1.16B.
Spider-Man: No Way Home was also the third fastest film of all time to reach the $500M mark. No Way Home has now surpassed Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, 2002’s Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man. No Way Home also sits atop the only other Sony film to have reached the $1B mark which was Skyfall earning $1.10B in 2012.
No Way Home was directed by Jon Watts working off a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, and Marisa Tomei. Additionally, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx, Rhys Ifans, and Thomas Haden Church all reprise their roles as villains from earlier Spider-Man films.
