Skinner: Survival May Not Be An Option In New Horror Graphic Novel From Dark Horse
Dark Horse has announced a new original graphic novel titled Skinner. The horror graphic novel will take readers into the Canadian wilderness as they follow six internet celebrities and their survivalist guide who fall victim to a plane crash. The terror of the plane crash might only be the beginning as now they are within the sights of the murderous legend “Skinner” known for skinning their murdered victims. The graphic novel is written by Micky Neilson and Samwise Didier with art by Piotr Kowalski, colors by Dennis Calero, and letters by Frank Cvetkovic.
Dark Horse‘s description of the series reads:
“Skinner is the terrifying tale of six internet celebrities who accompany a superstar survivalist on a one-week trip deep into the remote Canadian wilderness. After their plane crashes, the influencers and their guide are stalked by a mountain man of local legend—Skinner—who tracks, murders and skins his victims. When the celebrities mount a desperate counterattack, they discover that there is much more to the Skinner myth than any of them could have imagined—a nightmare creature that can assume any form.”
Neilson’s career has led them to projects such as World of Warcraft and Diablo III: Morbed with Didier having worked on The Last Winter. In the press release, Neilson shares that he and Didier are “huge horror fans” and consider Skinner to be their “love letter to the genre.”
Skinner will be available at your favorite comic shop on May 3rd, 2023 and everywhere books are sold on May 16th, 2023. Check out the cover reveal below:
