Mary Jane & Black Cat: MJ and Black Cat Join Forces Once More In New Marvel Limited Series

Marvel Comics has announced a new series titled Mary Jane & Black Cat. The five-issue mini-series sees MJ and Black Cat team up once again as the pair leave their mark in the upcoming Spider-Man/X-Men/Venom crossover event, Dark Web. Two of Peter Parker/Spider-Man’s greatest love interests joined forces earlier this year in a one-shot issue that had fans raving and led to a second printing of Mary Jane & Black Cat: Beyond #1. The limited series will be written by Jed MacKay with art by Vincenzo Carratù who will be making their Marvel Comics debut.

Marvel’s description of Mary Jane & Black reads:

“Mary Jane Watson and Felicia Hardy find themselves thrown into one another’s paths and then into the demonic dimension of LIMBO! But something has changed with MJ, and she’s not the only one keeping secrets – Felicia’s got a guilty conscience, and it’s playing havoc with their escape plan!”

MacKay expressed their excitement to return to the adventures of MJ & Black Cat saying:

“I’ve kind of lost track of how many lives Felicia has left at this point, but she keeps coming back- and this time she’s brought a friend! Getting back to Mary Jane and Black Cat after their one-shot last year has been a delight—and seeing how they’ve been catching up on all the drama that’s happened since then has been, well, catnip.”
