Skeeters: Extraterrestrial Creatures Invade Mad Cave This Holiday With Upcoming Series

Mad Cave Studios has announced the upcoming release of their horror/sci-fi series, SKEETERS. The new series comes from the talented Ringo Award-nominated writing duo of Kevin Cuffe and Bob Frantz. They are joined by artist Kelly Williams with Chas! Pangburn editing and lettering.

Set in a peaceful beach town, SKEETERS follows the chaotic events that unfold when otherworldly mosquito-like creatures invade the community. With their small town turned upside down, it’s up to a determined sheriff and two eccentric exterminators to save the day. Combining comedy and gore, this series is a treat for fans of creature features like Slither and Arachnophobia.

Kevin Cuffe shares:

“When Bob and I started this story, we aimed to create a humorous parody of B-movies. Little did we know that with the exceptional artwork of Kelly Williams, SKEETERS would become an A-plus comic. Kelly’s pages are filled with gross yet beautiful imagery, perfectly capturing the essence of swampy Kankakee county at sunset.”

Bob Frantz expresses his passion for SKEETERS, saying:

“This series is my tribute to the wonderfully cheesy creature features that I adore. Kevin and I crafted an enjoyable script, but it’s the breathtaking artwork of Kelly that truly brings it to life. Each page is brimming with visceral gore that leaps off the page. It’s a match made in horror heaven.”
