Ryan Reynolds Travels Back in Time in The Adam Project Trailer

Netflix has released the first trailer for The Adam Project. The sci-fi film gives us a first look at the upcoming film that will see Ryan Reynolds traveling back in time to save the future with the help of his younger self (Walker Scobell).

The film takes Adam Reed (Reynolds) back in time to meet up with his younger self (Scobell), who is still mourning the recent loss of his father (Mark Ruffalo). As they work together alongside their father (Ruffalo) to save the world, which won’t come without any challenges.

The film is a passion project for Reynolds who is starring and producing the film with Shawn Levy directing.

Reynolds recently shared on social media that The Adam Project:

 “is heartbreaking, funny, and does not skimp on huge action. It’s everything I loved about films growing up. Large scale but deeply personal.”

Starring alongside Reynolds, Ruffalo, and Scobell will be Jennifer Garner, Zoe Saldana, Catherine Keener, and Alex Mallari Jr.. The film was written by Jonathan Tropper, T.S. Nowlin, Jennifer Flackett, and Mark Levin. This also marks the first film to be developed under The Group Effort Initiative which is the joint effort of Reynold’s Maximum Effort and Blake Lively‘s B for Effort.

The Adam Project will premiere on Netflix on March 11th, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
