Prey Trailer Reveals First Look at Suspenseful Predator Prequel Film
20th Century Studios has revealed a teaser trailer for its upcoming film Prey. The trailer reveals the first look at the suspenseful Predator prequel film that takes the franchise back 300 years in the Comanche Nation. The teaser trailer gives us just a glimpse of what’s to come but the film looks to be a heart-pounding cat and mouse game between the invisible hunter and our heroine.

“Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, “Prey” is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.”
Prey is directed by Dan Trachtenberg who brought us 10 Cloverfield Lane. Trachtenberg will helm the film from a script written by Patrick Aison. The film was produced by Jhane Myers and John Davis. Lawrence Gordon, Marty Ewing, James E. Thomas, John C. Thomas, and Marc Toberoff will serve as executive producers on the film. The film will star Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush, and Julian Black Antelope.
Prey will premiere exclusively on Hulu on August 5th, 2022. Check out the teaser trailer below:
