The first season of the adaptation recently concluded, leaving an impression as it provided a more truthful adaptation of the source material than we previously got in the film adaptations. The series was spearheaded by an ensemble of young stars who took the task of bringing these longtime beloved characters to life and ran with it to give us a solid entry into the world of Percy Jackson.
The series premiered to a record-breaking 13.3 million viewers, solidifying its position and indicating strong potential for future success.

Fans can look forward to the return of Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Adam Copeland, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Toby Stephens, Dior Goodjohn, Virginia Kull, Jason Mantzoukas, and Glynn Turman in the upcoming season, as they embark on a new adventure based on The Sea of Monsters, the second installment of Rick Riordan’s best-selling book series.
The series is created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg, with season one executive produced by Steinberg, Dan Shotz, Rick Riordan, Rebecca Riordan, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Bert Salke, Jeremy Bell, D.J. The success of Percy Jackson and the Olympians has also had a positive impact on Disney Hyperion publishing, with the Percy Jackson books reclaiming the #1 spot on the New York Times Bestseller list for Middle-Grade series following the series debut.
The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, which originated as a set of books, will see its literary journey progress with the release of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Wrath of the Triple Goddess in September 2024.
Season one of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is now streaming on Disney+.
