Overwatch 2 Early Access Coming in October and Will Have Free-To-Play PvP
Blizzard Entertainment announced that Overwatch 2 early access will arrive this October during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase. Showing up with a new trailer, the studio also announced a new character and that the game will have free-to-play PvP.
Starting during its October early access period, the game’s free-to-play PvP will be available for players looking to jump in on the fun with their friends. The new character, The Junker Queen will also be available. The new character wields an ax and shotgun that serve only one purpose, to destroy all other heroes in the arena.
More information will be available for The Junker Queen on June 16th during the Overwatch 2 reveal event, but the character has gotten a cinematic trailer already which you can check out below:
Blizzard Entertainment also let fans know that they can expect regular content updates for the highly-anticipated sequel to Overwatch that will include new maps, new modes, new heroes, and much more.
Overwatch 2 will hit early access on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 4th, 2022. Check out the new trailer below:
