Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Reveal Trailer Shows Off Team Ninja’s Newest Project

Koei Tecmo Games and Team Ninja revealed Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty with a reveal trailer during the Xbox & Bethesda showcase. The new game, coming to Xbox and PC, bears a resemblance to another popular title from Team Ninja, Nioh. Players will take on monstrosities and human enemies. Although the trailer didn’t feature any gameplay, it did provide a good look for players to see the world being built in Wo Long. 

The trailer’s description reads: 

“Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty follows the dramatic, action-packed story of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms. Players fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within.” 

As the description notes, this will be a darker fantasy take on the Later Han Dynasty and the trailer shows these warriors consuming something mysterious that turns them into demons. An action game that combines a great horror atmosphere with Chinese swordplay. 

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will release on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC in early 2023. Fallen Dynasty will also be available on the Xbox Game Pass. Check out the reveal trailer below:
