Jae Lee Returns to Creator-Owned Comics With New Series Seven Sons

Image Comics announced a new series that marks a superstar artist’s grand return to creator-owned comics as co-writers Robert Windom and Kelvin Mao team up with artist Jae Lee for the thriller seven-issue series Seven Sons this June.

Speaking of the series, Lee said:

“Seven Sons is a complex and interesting story that grabs you from page one. I’m excited for people to join us on this thrill ride!”

Windom added:

“Kelvin and I were interested in exploring the impact of religion in society—but with murder, mystery, romance, and even a missile attack or two—and Jae Lee is the perfect artist to realize our vision of this alternative history.”

Image Comics describes Seven Sons:

“In Seven Sons, Delph—a young man who may be the Second Coming of Christ—runs for his life as he attempts to learn the truth behind his existence.”

The press release continued by adding that the thriller series will give readers fast-paced plotting similar to The Fugitive with the biblical high stakes of The Da Vinci Code.

Seven Sons #1 will be available at your favorite local comic book shop and digitally on June 15th, 2022. Check out the short preview below:
