Megan Thee Stallion Cast in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law
Marvel Studios will be bringing music superstar Megan Thee Stallion into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as she makes her debut in future episodes of Disney+‘s She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. Her role in the series was not disclosed but this does confirm previous rumors that Stallion was attached to the series to some extent.
The confirmation was made during an interview with Stallion with The Cut in which she revealed she would be part of the series and also touched on her aspirations of singing-to-acting as fellow rappers Queen Latifah and Ice Cube both made careers in both mediums.
Stallion also commented that her plans extend further than acting, with her saying:
“When I look at them [Latifah and Cube], it inspires me to take it further than just music. I don’t feel like I’m only going to be an actress — I feel like I’m also going to be a director, and I’m also going to be a producer.”
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law‘s synopsis reads:
“In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany)—an attorney specializing in superhuman-oriented legal cases—must navigate the complicated life of a single, 30-something who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.”
Stallion joins the stellar cast that includes Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry. The series was created and written by Jessica Gao and is executive produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro, Jessica Gao, Wendy Jacobson, and Jennifer Booth
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is currently streaming on Disney+ with new episodes releasing on Thursdays.
