Marvel’s Midnight Suns New Gameplay Trailer Reveals December Release Date
Firaxishas released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Marvel strategy game, Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The developer recently announced that Midnight Suns would be delayed a bit further as they polished the game but still hoped for a 2022 release. The new trailer was heavily-focused on the combat the Midnight Suns will feature and an interesting look the relationships players will build in the game through the choices that are made.
If that isn’t enough to get you jumping out of your seat, Marvel also announced that they will be releasing animated shorts through their Youtube channel that will serve as a prequel for Midnight Sun‘s plot with the first episode releasing on October 31st, 2022.

Midnight Suns is a Marvel-themed strategy game that blended turn-based combat like what you would see from XCOM and integrated deck-building gameplay. The upcoming game is set to be a reimagining of the popular Rise of the Midnight Sons comic book event that has also seen new life in a new comic event coming soon.
The game will be based on the Midnight Sons arc and team. Players will control The Hunter, who is an original hero created by Marvel and Firaxis, who leads a team consisting of Doctor Strange, Blade, Captain America, Wolverine, Magik, and others against the evil Lilith.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on December 2nd, 2022.
